Apple unveiled a next-generation version of iOS 11 during its Worldwide Developers Conference. The CEO of the company Tim Cook said that the update takes the best and most advanced operating system and turns it up to 11. With iOS 11, the subtle design changes to interface elements throughout the operating system, iPhone and iPad are the most powerful, personal and intelligent devices they’ve ever been.
It has expected that Apple will release iOS 11 officially in the autumn or fall of 2017 or the third quarter. But it’ll probably be launched in September, alongside the new iPhone 8. The original and confirmed date is yet to be known about the actual release. Before the official launch, pre-release versions of iOS 11 have been made available to beta testers.

The drag and drop option in the new version lets the users to drag content like images and links from one app and drop it in another on both iPhone and iPad. A new Finder-style Files app has been introduced for managing files.
Users can pay someone via iMessage or tell Siri to pay someone by using a credit or debit card that’s stored in their Wallet. It’s linked with your debit or credit card, too, so there’s no messy configuration required.
In the new version of iOS 11, Apple makes it easier to for the users to separate apps and games. The effort has been taken to minimize the confusion of the users. The Apps tab will house top app charts, picks and categories.
The camera software also has lots of improvements, including improved image quality. Portrait Mode in the iPhone 7 Plus can be taken with Optical Image Stabilisation, True Tone flash and HDR.
It will give details on the latest games, apps. It will have lot of the editorial content, including interviews and feature pieces, artwork and videos around the App. Controlled and managed by the App Store editors, the Today Tab will house different sort of things such as how-to guides, curated collections and world premieres.
In the updated version of iOS 11, Siri will not only speak the translated phrase but will display it on your iPhone’s screen. Siri will also use your interests to provide relevant news inside the revamped News application.
iOS 11 will launch with the option to automatically delete apps you never use through a feature called Offload Unused Apps.
